Qarshi Model Complex, Muridke (MDK) is a unique project of Qarshi Foundation, established in 1998, to uplift the underprivileged population of Narowal district. Since its establishment, It is providing quality health care and education services to the encatchment area of 25 KM around QMC,. The concept of Qarshi Model Complex is based on the 25 year life cycle of an individual.
Qarshi Model Complex is a blend of following entities:
QARSHI FOUNDATION DISPENSARY (QFD)
Qarshi Foundation Dispensary (QFD) is providing free natural medicines, of Qarshi Industries, to all deserving patients. The dispensary is providing services to the students of Qarshi-Care School, staff of QMC and to the natives of about 50 villages around QMC.
QARSHI MOTHER & CHILD HEALTH CARE CENTER (QMCHCC)
Qarshi Mother & Child Health care Center (QMCHCC) is a part of QMC-MDK, providing antenatal and postnatal services to marginalized community to its surrounding villages. It is a Rural Health Center and Vaccination Center, providing following services:
- Free O.P.D. & Antenatal checkups
- Normal Delivery
- Dilatation & Curettage
- Free Vaccination
- Ambulance service
- Polio Campaigns
QARSHI CARE HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (QCHSS)
Qarshi-Care Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1998 in collaboration with Care Foundation for advancement, rehabilitation and education of local population of the village around Qarshi Model Complex. A very nominal fee is charged to students from play group to higher secondary school. The school has following facilities:
- Library (consisting of 3000 books)
- Computer Lab
- Science Lab
- Play grounds
- Internet facility
- Transport facility
Qarshi Model Complex is also providing platform to develop the Islamic values in the students through Qarshi Masjid.
